BIOGRAPHY

Streetlight Marathon is a band created by multi-instrumentalist, Andrew Ricchetti, who after several stints with various bands around Toronto moved to the city of Chicago in 2008 to focus on other inspirations. However, what Andrew found was a new inspiration in songwriting, and a new opportunity to observe and translate his experiences into meaningful song. The band strives to merge experimental elements to a unique but contemporary rock sound. In 2010, after playing venues in Toronto, London, Montreal, Chicago and Los Angeles, Andrew returned home to Toronto to record the first self-titled EP at Canada’s most recognized recording studio, Metalworks Studios.  Upon his return Andrew started collaborating with Martin Kuwawi(guitarist) and then later added Jason Choi(drums) and Justin Thomas(bass). Since then, the band has gone on to record new songs and play numorous shows on tour across the country.
